Charles Eames Lounge Chair (reproduction)

This high quality Charles Eames lounge chair reproduction is based on Eames lounge (671) design from 1958, which made its public debut on Arlene Francis' 'Home Show', which later became the 'Today Show'. The Charles Eames Lounge Chair is undeniably an icon, amongst the most collectable furniture designs of the 20th century. Old-fashioned luxuries are incorporated into the chair's modern form. This high-grade reproduction offered by Interior Addict Ltd is crafted to perfection.

The shell is seven-ply real wood veneer. The 6-inch-thick foam cushions are individually upholstered and interchangeable, upholstered in a semi or full aniline Italian Leather. The base and back braces are durable and made from cast aluminium. As per the original Eames design, the chair is permanently reclined at 15 degrees so that body weight is distributed to the back of the chair in order to maximise comfort.

Har laenge oensket mig og vaeret fan af lounge chair fra charles & ray eames !! Nu er den endelig kommet... Og den er bare en fremragende kopi.. kan varmt anbefale interior addict.. du blir ikke skuffet !!

Top class reproduction.

I am an Interior Designer and have spent many years studying the Eames' range of furniture. I have since then been a massive fan but not had the means to buy any originals. This is a high quality replica which I thought was still affordable. Very impressed. I look forward to kicking back in this for years to come!
