Snoopy Style Table Lamp. (Reproduction)

The profile has monochrome colouring and reminds us of Charlie Brown's silent yet extroverted beagle. The white marble base contrasts beautifully with the rich glossy black of the enamelled reflector. Light is diffused from the bottom of the reflector, making it a fantastic desk, table or side light. Like Charles M. Schulz's creation, this Mushroom Lamp is a true classic.

Achille Castiglioni was born February 16, 1918 in milan. In 1944 he graduated in architecture from the Milan Politecnico, and in 1947 began working with his older brothers Pier Giacomo (1913-1968) and Livio (1911-1979). He participated in the organization of the Triennale in Milan and exhibited at almost every Milan Triennale since 1947.

In the 50's the Castiglioni brothers cemented their commitment to 'minimalist' design (such as the 'Luminator' Floor Lamp). Achille Castogliono redesigned many objects (the tractor seat stool 'mezzadro', the 'toio' lamp and the 'sella' chair, made of a bicycle seat...). Castiglioni said of his design for the 'sella' < when I use the phone, I like to move around, but I also would like to sit, but not completely. These designs drew upon the 'ready made' artworks of marcel duchamp. In 1968 the continuous collaboration with his brother pier giacomo ended because of his death.

Achille Castiglioni received the compasso d'oro award 7 times: In 1955, 1960, 1962, 1964, 1967, 1979 and 1984.

We try to ensure that our popular and smaller pieces are held in stock, however we do manufacture many items to order and to ensure quality and the best possible prices lead times will apply. These lead times, if any, are clearly advertised when purchasing.

Interior Addict Ltd are happy to deliver all over Europe. Packaging usually consists of outer plywood box, internal cardboard box and internal polyurethane wrapping around the product.

In stock items.
If your products are in stock we aim to deliver within 7-10 days for UK deliveries. For deliveries outside the UK we aim to deliver within 7-14 days. If you need your delivery quicker than this then please call us and we will try to assist you and advise you of any additional cost that may be incurred.

We deliver regularly to London and surrounding areas. We have various different couriers supporting our team so will do our best to fit in with your requirements.

Manufactured to order items.
Please allow up to 14 weeks for delivery, although we aim to deliver within 8-10 weeks. We will keep you updated regularly via email on the ststus of your order and will advise immediately of any delays - rest assured though that we will ensure delays are kept minimal and will do everything within our power to deliver in the lead time promised.

All items delivered to you are based on standard delivery. UK deliveries are approximate and refer to mainland UK only. This also applies to European delivery charges, whilst we try to be competitive with delivery we may have to charge more dependent on the prices we are being charged, if there are additional charges we will call you to discuss this further. Your item(s) will be placed in their packaging and delivery will be to a room of your choice on the ground floor of the building. Please check your order upon delivery or when you have reasonable opportunity to do so. Please contact us if you require assembly as additional costs will apply (UK only).
